About me
Carolyn L. Chan is a Canadian IB-certified primary educator with a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of British Columbia. Currently teaching Grade 5 within the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) at Seoul Foreign School, Carolyn specializes in creating inquiry-driven, inclusive, and engaging classroom environments that celebrate diversity and foster critical thinking.
With a strong background in Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and a commitment to meeting the needs of diverse learners, Carolyn integrates strategies that promote student well-being and academic success. Her experience teaching in international and multicultural contexts informs her passion for cultivating global-minded, resilient, and compassionate learners.
