After graduating with a BA in Mathematics from San Diego State University, I joined the Peace Corps, where I taught middle school math in Burkina Faso, West Africa. I later earned a master’s in teaching at the University of Southern California and obtained National Board certification. I taught mathematics for 6 years in Los Angeles California before moving to Xiamen, China in 2019. I recently moved to South Korea to work at Seoul Foreign School as a math and science teacher.
